The science of weight-loss has been offering solutions to our troubles with excess weight since such a thing as excess weight was considered a bad thing, and a health risk. Especially in the USA, a growing number of people are diagnosed with obesity each year. Most alarmingly, this number is growing at the fastest rate with children under the age of fourteen. This leads to a number of health issues later in their life, at the worst, or developing an eating disorder at a young age at best.

  • A study from 2005. on twenty-three overweight women showed that there was no weight loss when the groups were compared to each other. However, there were signs of weight gain mitigation with the forskolin group
  • The latest study was conducted in 2014. on diabetic rats. This study confirmed that weight gain is reduced when forskolin was introduced to the diet

Whatever the results of the studies, one thing is certain. In no cases were there any witnessed ill effects resulting from the pure forskolin extract consumption. This is because forskolin is an all-natural product, designed to stimulate release and burning of the fat stored in the cells. And this is exactly the best way of using the supplement. While not harmful in any way, forskolin is best used in conjunction with regular exercise and a low-fat diet. When used like this, subject will experience accelerated weight loss, compared to just exercising and eating low-fat foods. Fruits and vegetables will, of course, help when trying to shake off those extra pounds, riding your bicycle to work, or school will do their part as well, if you need a little extra to make the fat burn faster, forskolin may be the option worth looking into.
