FIFA Or PES?

The world’s most popular sport is football with almost 3.5 billion people following it. In many countries, the hyperactive sport that is always packed with astonishing moments is considered as a religion. What if this sport is converted into a virtual game? That is exactly what EA Games and Konami are doing. Releasing a new avatar of FIFA and PES almost every year they have allowed millions of fans to control and play their look-alike real world champions in a virtual setup. So if you want to experience an amazing simulation of the sport, which game should you choose?

FIFA

It is developed and released by Electronic Arts, under the label EA Sports. The first game of this popular series came out during the 1993 Christmas with the title “FIFA 94”. After its first release, the gaming company went on to release 32 more editions, the latest being FIFA 19 with Cristiano Ronaldo on its cover. The inclusion of the new Active Touch System has made FIFA 19’s gameplay more fluidic than its predecessors. The passing has become much smoother. However, FIFA yet again is not that good as compared to PES in terms of build of play; players most often fail to get to the obvious positions we anticipate. Further, we have to learn a lot of combinations for special moves and shots. This makes us feel quite annoyed at times when we do not hit the right buttons. When it comes to graphics, detailing and presentation FIFA does stand out of the lot. The seamless navigation through the menu and the details of the players are very good. On the ground of modes offered, FIFA yet again comes out flamboyantly with the inclusion of House Rules and UEFA Champions League in the new edition.

PES

Developed and marketed by Konami, this series has 32 games in its arsenal along with the recent release of PES2019. The only game company to rival EA Sports in the arena of football simulation games. In terms of gameplay, it is as smoother and fluidic as FIFA. Unlike FIFA, PES has a wonderful build of play and one can find the tactics work out very well during the gameplay. However, it fails to offer good graphical details and a user-friendly presentation. The expression on players face often seem to be dead. Further, PES2019 has less to provide in terms of game modes compared to its predecessors.

Overall, PES stands its ground when it comes to gameplay. On the other hand, FIFA seems to be a bit better in other fields. Therefore, it ultimately depends on the individual who plays the game to download games of his/her preference.
